The Little Tree

Educational Services - The Learning Tree provides a private non-profit school for individuals with mental retardation who face language/communication difficulties and engage in challenging behaviors directed towards others or themselves. The educational component of the program is licensed and monitored by the Alabama State Department of Education and its division of Special Education Services. School facilities include five classrooms, a greenhouse, pre-vocational areas, a playfield, and two pools, all of which are used regularly by the staff and students.
