Services offered to all children:
Curriculum is based on the Alabama State Department of Education guidelines to ensure school readiness
Social Skill Development
Small class size (six children in a classroom)
Learning responsibility through peer modeling and assisting those with disabilities
Use of scientifically validated teaching procedures
SRA Direct Instruction Reading Program
 
Services offered to children with autism spectrum disorder:
Use of Applied Behavior Analysis including Incidental Teaching, Verbal Behavior Language Intervention, Discrete Trial Training, and other scientifically validated treatments.
Use of the ABLLS (Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills)
A minimum of 3 hours of in-home consultation provided by preschool staff and up to 10 additional hours will be provided if staff time is available.
 Dare Officer Visits during Community Helper Week Monthly parent training meeting based on the child’s specific needs.
 
Children we serve:
Children between the ages of 2 ½ and 5 years
Children with an autism spectrum diagnosis and other developmental delays
