The Learning Tree is looking for dedicated, dependable, mature individuals to enhance the quality of life for developmentally delayed children. With 10 group homes in the Mobile Area serving a total of 36 children, The Learning Tree offers a unique learning and working environment. Children served all have cognitive delays as well as unique and challenging behaviors and range in age from 7 to 22. Days are filled with educational and fun activities such as: Playing in parks, swinging, swimming, riding bikes, bowling, skating, etc., as well as teaching the children important living and communication skills.

Benefit package includes: Optional health insurance plan, 24 annual leave days, and life insurance policies for health plan participants

Part time
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Tuesday, Thursday 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Residential Instructor - Overnight (RIO)
Qualifications: Minimum of high school diploma
Monday through Friday 10:00 pm - 8:00 am
Residential Instructor - Weekend (RIW)
Qualifications: Minimum of high school diploma
Saturday through Sunday 7:00 am - 9:00 pm

Current Support Staff Positions

Nurse - Day and Time Assignments are flexible
Qualifications: Current RN or LPN license: ability to work in team setting
